the 50 Babes Project

Miss Minnesota

from 15.00

Did you know that rollerblades were invented by brothers Scott + Brennan Olson in 1980 as a way to practice hockey in the warmer seasons? Well now you do! Minnesota native, Naomi, is rocking vintage rollerblades and a classic polaroid camera, an homage to the Polaroid headquarters located in MN. SPAM! A product from Hormel Hams was actually created by the local company in 1937 & you can make out the classic can in Naomi's photograph. She sits in front of a backdrop of greenery, the pattern used in the Jolly Green Giant, then known as the Minnesota Valley Canning Company. It wasn't until 1950 when MVCC changed names to Green Giant company.

The 50 babes Project is a new series capturing beautiful babes (men & women) from each state. It is my love letter to the vintage postcards we all know and love.
